I think about them mainly when I'm bored at work (or working on a tedious task) and on weekends when I pull out some of my really PQ morgans and stare at them. But when I get several new items, I think about coins a lot for a week or two. So far I've got 200 raw washingtons, 80 raw halves, and a new PL Morgan to play with.
only when iam awake, when i give the dog a bath, while sleeping, eating, cutting the lawn, telling the wife i will be right back, driving, taking a shower, sleeping , what a great hobby.
Only when the earth is rotating. I think about coins I have, coins I want, auctions I'm watching, coins I'm selling, upcoming shows (Baltimore). Just your average coin guy.

The Philadelphia Mint: making coins since 1792. We make money by making money. Now in our 225th year thanks to no competition.
About once a day - unless I am keeping busy with things that I should be doing vs. spending money I shouldn't be. Being at the computer and having access doesn't help either. Also, when I get mad at hubby, or bored. Also, when I look around at coins scattered all over, and figure I should do something with them.

Wait a minute that doesn't quite add up does it?
I'd have to say most of the time. There are other things to think about- like women and sports.
