SMR Price discrepancy?

Just got the November issue of SMR into my hot little hands yesterday & saw to my delight that after months of very little activity, there were + signs all over the late 60s baseball sets that form the bulk of my collection. So I sat down tonight to update my card values and fool myself that I was in profit with regard to this little addiction we all share. I discovered to my surprise that the on-line pricing guide showed no such rises.
Is anyone else surprised by this? I would have thought that, given the technology, the electronic version should, if anything, be ahead of the print version. Am I (as I usually am) missing something really obvious here?
