Here's the best reverse strike you'll ever see on a Buffalo!

It's available on eBay...a 1924-S in a PCGS MS62 holder. Granted, that year is notorious for being weakly struck, but that one makes my 26-D look like a proof!

    almost looks struck thru, esp. around the MM.

    The obverse isn't all that bad...just the reverse. 62 seems about right. Either way the coin is in mint state....

    Yes, I saw that one too. Amazing on how poorly struck it is. I would have graded lower just because of that extremely poor strike. For that much money, I'll look elsewhere.

  • the 24-s in a notoriously poorly struck coin and even rick montgomery would admit it's the tuffest buff to grade. looking at that makes wonder about the full horn to be vf theory. that really is a terrible coin, imho.

    a technical unc maybe, but value should be NO HIGHER than au money. it's 1 of the coins i got screwed on big-time when i bought a similar pcgs coin & cracked it out.
