The Auction's CAPS, not mine! Now, let's say there's a bit of a bidding war on this one. Not so unusual, it could happen. Three or four competitive bidders want this one- and the price is driven up to $500.00.
Now, the winner decides to take this Seller up on his guarantee. Do you really think he'll receive a check for $1,000.00 back upon the return of the coin?

The auction doesn't have it in caps anymore... Maybe they thought it would be a fraud magnet. Does Blue Moon hang out here on the boards? I bought a couple of ASEs from them a while back, they were real nice on the phone.

That has got to be text left over from some other auction or do they all say that?

This coin? is an excellent candidate for double your money back (unless you like the history behind the fingerprints).

That coin hurts my feelings. No nice ASE deserves "eat some barbeque and handle the coins" fingerprints.

Maybe I should start a fingerprinted coin type collection? Perhaps this would, over time, become rather appreciated - and give a cool place for all those unfortunate coins out there.
