Merc guys - Images are finally up.

I finally have gotten the images up of all my mercury dimes. They were done by Mary Winter, who can be reached at maryw@int.com if anyone is interested in getting some quality images of their coins and they are, like me, totally clueless as to how to do it. She also posted pictures of my Dahlonega gold set.
I hope everyone enjoys these images.

    Joshua:

    Impressed is a Understatement.

The 20S is still my favorite. IMO it is the Prettiest Merc I have ever seen. The three 1925 Dimes are almost equal but just a shade below the 20S. Great strike for All of the 25's and Very Pretty. The other Favorites are 26D because of the Great Strike for the Date and of course the 27D and27S, just great Dimes. Two that I would Love to see in person are the 29S and 30S, they look georgeous in the Photo's but in real life I bet they are knockouts.

Thank You for taking the time to Image the Coins. Anyone that does not look at this Set is Missing a Real Treat in Numismatics.

PS: Will look at the Rest later. Obviously I looked at the Favorite Dates I like.image

  • Very NICE set, I am impressed, and very happy for you. I did notice that the pics are a little dark though. The 16s is suppose to be blast white, but looks dark to me. I am not sure what kind of lighting that was used, but the sharpness of the coins are outstanding! I just wish I could get my pics that quality. Nice job, and thank you for sharing, and taking the time to have them posted.
I would take that 17D-65fb,19S-65fb,23S-65fb for my set(image), those are just holding your set back..just kiddin'.imageimage
    Great Job!

    Joshua,

That's truly an amazing set! While it's impossible to capture all the subtleties of a coin's color and luster in a single photograph, there were several of the earlier dates that appeared to be visually outstanding: the '18-S, '19-D, '21-P, '24-P, '27-P, and '30-S. I'm sure all Merc collectors appreciate the opportunity to view your set.

    Thanks for sharing.
