OK, Exonumia folks...What have I got?

I'll try to get this scanned later, but for now, I have a silver medal depicting the following:

Obverse: Angel motif.

To left it says:

ELIS
ATHENS
PARIS
ST LOUIS
LONDON

Beneath engraved in small lettering: B MACKENNAL

To right it says: In commemoration of the Olympic Games held in London 1908

Reverse: Chariot race motif with initials BM at lower left

Top edge of rim: Vaughton

Aside from being an Olympic commemorative medal, how can I tell if it's original? What's its value? I don't collect this stuff so any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Bob

There is a little information on some medals at the link.

A quadriga is four horses working side by side to pull a chariot.
