Is this a good camera for coins?

I bid on this one and i was wondering if anyone has used one of these to take pics of coins.

I don't know anything about that unit but, accoding to the specs listed, it does macro down to 3.2 inches, which is the same as the camera I use. Any decent camera with macro ability should be fine. The rest is setup and lighting.

I agree with Russ. Having a macro is the thing. After that it is the lighting, your stand, etc. Mine is in that range. It does fine and it is only a 2.1 MP.
