im having a hard time figuring out how to find 1944-D D over S. can any1 tell me what it looks like?

Die #2 is not quite as drastic.

sure, I got one of them.
Look on the date of that one. You might need some magnification on it.
date should look thick on it and even on a low grade one, the base of the 9's might show 2 of them fairly clearly.
also look at WE TRUST for doubling

wish I had a scanner so I could show you mine. This one is not as good but it should do the trick. This maybe a good organization to join if you are into or are getting into varieties. They have many auctions at very affordable prices. Its NCADD. Good luck.

that is going pretty darn cheap so far. I bet it sees some activity yet.
hard to make out on the date on that ebay one but it's clearly there on TRUST
