Shield nickel Experts 1874 Double 74-attribution?

I recently purchased a 1874 shield nickel PR65Cam with clearly repunched 74. 18 are single. Thus doesn't fit either BR 2498 0r 2499 (all dates doubled) although Breen aludes to various doubling of 4. Is this an established distinct variety?

it's the only proof issue variety listed for 1874, actually.
However the coin I have has the 7 also repunched. I do not have Fletcher but looked in Flynn's Two dates are better than one book . The picture they have for a MPD also had repunched four numerals which might match the Breen 2499 double date. I wonder if Fletcher described the 74 repunch. I am sorry I do not have an easy way to show the picture but with this frosty proof it is very clear that both are struck over higher prior numbers.
So that's four total 1874 repuched date varieties in Fletcher's, F-01 through F-04. Hope it helps some.
Thanks!
I happened to get a peek at the Fletcher book this morning and saw the page on varieties of 1874 shields. I think my coin is not listed in his book and must be a new variety either described since then (1991) or not previously described. It is a minor point to all but coin nuts.
