Who here has a Cell Phone?

Well... I went out the other day and I lost it, at first I thought it was somewhere in my house but I have looked up and down for it. Now my question... If somebody else found it and kept it can I ever get it back? Or what?

No, there is no way you can if someone found it and chose to keep it. Call your phone company and see if there has been any activity. I believe they can put a hold on your account if you request it. Then if you ever find it you call them back and tell them to reactivate it otherwise you will have to get a new phone and cut your losses. However the good thing is they can keep your old number. Your old phone isnt latched to your number. Just curious, in case you dont find it, what type of phone do you have? Im going to sell my phone as soon as I can get enough money to buy the brand new color sprint phone

oh ok. Thats a nice phone. I have one of those old nokias from 2 years ago, the 5100 series. Doesnt have all the bells and whistles like wireless internet and such, but it does the job. LMK if you never find the phone and want mine, at least as a temporary replacement. Mine sell for about $30 on ebay, but of course if you would need it you could always just throw it on ebay later when you get a newer and better phone, essentially making it a loaner. Make sure ya call that company though ASAP to find out if there is any activity. I know many times that people who take these phones wont even bother to use them, I think possibly because you may be able to track calls and see where they are from. They will just keep the phone until it is shut off and then sell it

But hope ya find that thing, thats a tight phone. My friend lost a great Sprint phone while he was traveling from CA to WI one summer. Not fun to lose one of those, expensive to replace and alot of hassle. My uncle also just lost his sprint phone when his dumb friend took it to a bar or a party or someplace where the guy got drunk and lost it. So he had to get a new phone too.

Yea, I liked it. I bought it's cover of eBay a while back it was this cover (Click Here) But yea, I think I'm doen with Cell Phones. To much of a hassle all together. Thanks though for the information.

One question though, are you under contract to have service for a certain # of months or years? I hate that. I was under contract for 2 years with cingular. I wanted out after 10 months or so, I was so sick of their service. I hate those dang contracts

I'm not sure if I am under contract. I'll first have to bust the news to my Mom. She has all the paperwork and such for my phone, er.. old phone.

Did you try to call your old phone? See if someone answers? If someone found it they may be waiting for you to call them to get your phone. Not everyone steals them and resells them. Also, it would be dangerous to cancel if you are under contract. You would have to pay like $130. Thats what they told me when i went in to cancel it. I just decided to say screw it, I may as well keep my phone. If im going to pay for 5+months for service I may as well keep the darn thing until its over.
