no its just some kid that stamps his cards
  • stay away from that crap. It is just like getting a marker and writing 1/1 on your cards and then selling them.

  • What stamped 1/1 cards were you talking about, can you show an auction link or a scan of one please.

I have some of the Nationals, SportsFest and Hawaii Trade Conference CTA 1/1's and I really like them.

  • First of all, why the heck did you have to post all of those here BECKETTSUCKS? JUST POST A LINK TO YOUR PAGE OR SOMETHING, DON'T POST THAT CRAP HERE, IT'S JUST A WASTE OF SPACE AND NO ONE EVEN WANTS TO SEE THEM.

Ok to answer your question weasel, they are worth what the buyer will pay, that's about it. They are actual one of one's, but you aren't going to get $$$$ for them.

Knicks is a moron thinking some kid could do that. LMFAO. I think it would cost a little more than a few dollars to get those things made. I'm sure the plate alone costs a couple hundred minimum.

Sosa is another fool thinking it is the same as writing on a card in pen. I am sure if someone did that and put it on ebay their would be a lawsuit or fraud filed, because there could be more than one of the same card numbered like that.

From what I have seen on ebay with the Special Olympics cards, 24K cards, and others is they all have a COA, meaning they are promising that they are only minting one of each card they produce to make it an actual one of one. If any others were produced by them, they would have a major lawsuit against them.

In conclusion, are they worth anything? Depends on if you are collecting for Resale value or if you are collecting for personal reasons. If you are looking to make money in the future on them, then I wouldn't even bother, but if you collect a certain player, it's just a nice addition to your collection, and you can truely say you have a one of one (even if it's not worth much).image
  • i cant stand those cards, actually i think they make a bad name for the actual masterpieces
  • Ya sorry for stating my opinion SuperStar... But I guess you are a SuperStar...

I personally wouldn't spend anything on that crap. Crap that is all it is. Unless you are collecting the certain player.

  • Yeah, you better be sorry!!!!!image

I wouldn't even buy those even if I collected a certain player unless it was a certified auto that they stamped. The funny thing is, they sell for some reason, the same thing with the Sun Times and Nationals cards. You'll see some go for dirt cheap and another person lists it differently and makes a ton, but that's ebay for you. Hey, but whatever works for those sellers I guess go for it. If people want them, then there is a demand, and everyone knows about supply and demand.
  • I list with pics on almost all my posts, you never know who may be looking and interestd in a card.
  • Now that you mention the Nationals this year some have been selling really high and some ridiculously low. The real nice show cards I believe started at the Hawaii Trade Conference this year and followed into the Nationals with even better cards.
