They did that so you hopefully wouldn't notice the coin not being straight in the holder, either.

The plastic looks melted some at the top and cracked on the sides.
I guess someone likes their slabs `well done`.

Aside from the fact that the coin is crooked and the label is crooked

It sold for only $18,000.
A oregon $10 gold in xf-45 sold for $110,000.
