By mistake, I AT'd the chrome bumper on my dad's '62 Caddie. (A brief loss of concentration while welding a radiator mount!) I think I'm OK though becuase as I told dad, we can get it slabbed at ACG. When he protested, I just told him we could sell it on ebay as just one out of the hoard.

Heres a few I made useing a candle flame.Some are white as a comparison.You might think this ruins the coin,but they all can be dipped white again without any trace of prior toneing. I hadnt planned on selling any of these but, anyone that would offer anything over face might be able to talk me out of some. SlideShow/SideShow
Hmmmm... thermal toning on state quarters... what an idea Some of the colors are actually kind of cool. Reminds me of my college roomate's tye-dyed shirt.
