this coin rests in an ngc pf67 holder and is solid for the grade the coin has shallow mirrors and is usually known for coming grey and spotted this coin has a wonderful toning usually never seen with these colors, a case could be made for the coin being a mintstate coin from the surfaces but it is a proof too bad as if the coin was mintstate it would be a 12,000 coin easy! and maybe with the toning lots more in an auction!

remember this coin is blown up like 15 times so it really shows all and being an original coin it toned with some slight fly specks and this is normal as the coin is 75% copper

the color is what really sets this coin apart from the rest of the pack and there are absolutely no hairlines or marks on this coin it was put somewhere and rested there for a long long time and the right to left toning is the norm for these coins and other nickel coins as i have always seen. this coin was most probably struck from leftover business strike dies and may have been given only one blow from the dies but i think this coin was given two!

in terms of rarity this coin is super rare with this type of toning and with its look is a fully original coin
