that's a bgs 9 for 400 less and the subgrades are the same, but centering is a 8.5 on the bgs 9. If you look at the centering on the bgs 9.5 and this bgs 9 you can't tell the diffrence. I would go for the bgs 9 and have 500 more dollars on another kobe card =) that's just me though.

    sometimes if you take the card to a convention they will re-grade it if you show you them two cards with the exact same centering , but one with a lower grade. It's on you though. Both cards look exactly the same, but big time price diffrence. Either one ....you can't go wrong. tell us which one you choose after the auctions end.

    they do look alike but what if i get it regraded and it never gets the 9.5. . after the auction ends you might find out i got neither.lol im too unsure to make a decision.. after all this excitement if i don't get 1 tonight i will real soon lol

    still a decent price. It's the off-season and a thursday. I hope all the kobe collectors went to sleep. I know that guy cbjoe wins a bunch of kobes....so watch out for that guy.

    only 750? not bad at all, because they were going for atleast 1k last year during the season. Some dude outbid me at the last secind, but he has zero feedback so we'll see how that goes.

    i think i might take the advice about the sub-grades.. i'll look for ones with at least all 9.5's..i was going to go 720-730 the highest

    yeah the subgrades are always nice. Oh man you should see what that seller has of kobe. He has his middle school yearbook autographed by kobe authenticated by psa/dna and kobe signed.......how about them lakers "kobe bryant" back in the freaking 8th grade hahaha. You would have to see it to believe it. I;m trying to buy it off him, but he won't budge.

    i think thats cool just to have the high school one let alone the middle school one..man i'd take stuff like that over a card anytime..good luck trying to get the middle s. y.b send me a scan if you get it image

    yeah I want the scan so I can show some people who don't believe me. I'm just waiting for him to give it to me. Yeah that kind of stuff is rare and you just can't find it on ebay everyday like a card. I'm not putting down cards, but the kobe chrome will always be there..... that middle school book signed by kobe won't you know? I wish I never knew that middle school book existed, because it has pictures of kobe in singing class, the baseball team, and I forgot what other thing you would never think he would be in. It's a crazy book you just gotta see it bro. You would be that much more proud to be a kobe fan knowing he cared about the lakers back in that town where every kid wrote "magic sucks" in the yearbooks.

    no wonder why they booed him at the all-star game lol .. the guy who has the yearbooks, did he go to school with kobe or did he buy them from someone ??

    haha yeah they boo any laker since magic schooled up the sixers back in the early 80's....he said he bought them from kobe's longtime high school friend "WHAT A FRIEND HE IS"selling his books for money !! He has his senior high school book and the middle school one left. If you ever want one he will hook you up.

    haha the senior high school book sold for 2002$ last june 12th on ebay from spankys archive you can even email spanky to ask him. The reason I think I got the freshman one so low is because he has little feedback and accepts no paypal which throws off alot of buyers. He is a good clean cut seller though. He's selling his senior kobe for 1,000$ and the middle school one for about 2,500. I think it's worth it. I'm trying to get the senior one for sure, but that middle school one is priceless.

    p.s did you ever see that michael jordan autographed from high school yearbook on ebay? I think it went like way over 5g's
