  • I'm interested in the answer to this one too. I'm trying to learn the difference between old cleaned gunmetal gray and original gunmetal gray.

    That's really hard to say. Maybe it was laying in a jewelry box or in an album and the wear points didn't tone on the rev like they did on the obv. Or maybe it has been cleaned on the rev.
    Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
  • Could have been store in some type of coin board or album. The reverse would have contact with the material, while the obverse would not.
