Can anyone help me with information about this coin. I am looking for any ref info about telling fake from real. any help would be appreciated.

genuine pieces have a partial wire rim on the obv from 12 to 3 o'clock position.

coinbuf- here's a line out of the PCGS coin grading and counterfeit detection book."Only two dies were used, and most of the survivors are from one die combination that offers an infallible diagnostic. The diagnostic is not the wire rim on the obverse,as not all genuine pieces show this characteristic. Rather, it is a short, raised vertical die polish line in the recess just to the left of the arrowheads,clutched by the eagle on the obverse" I am no expert on these just relaying the info from the book.

Chris- Iam not sure if the book is still being printed but you should be able to find a used copy on ebay. mike

i would be more inclined to rely on the partial wire rim as the defining diag, imho.
