Question for 1972 collectors

I recently got a 1972 #426 PSA-9 OC. This is the Ken Singleton IA card, however the back describes Ken Holtzman. Is this what's supposed to be on the back? Also, how is centering measured on these things. Is it measured to the top of the arch on the border, or to the flat part? This card looks centered to me. If anything, it should have gotten the ST qualifier for the stain on the back.

    Robert,

Yup - the back of the In Action cards had different stories - not associated with the player on the front. But in looking at the centering - I think that the OC qualifier is a bit harsh. For 72 - the centering is measured from the top of the arch. From just eyeballing it - it looks like about 60/40 which should be within the tolerance for a 9. On the other hand, I think that you're right when you dodged a bullet on the ST qualifier.

It appears this has to be an error - they proabably meant ST. There is no way that thing is OC, heck it's almost 50/50! Has to be a mistake.

    I agree. I think it's a "mechanical"
