  • I know of three 1941 DDO's. There may be others.

    1) FS#018 Doubling strongest on LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The doubling is east/west on IGWT and north/south on LIBERTY. Rarity is URS-8 (65 to 125). XF-$20, AU-$50, MS63-$125.

    2) FS#018.1 Doubling also on LIBERTY and IGWT. The first hubbing is stronger on this one, the main difference. URS-10 (251 to 500). XF-$45, AU-$75, MS63-$150.

    3) FS#018.3 Doubling on TY of LIBERTY, the 19 of the date and doubled ear to the south. URS-9 (126 to 250). XF-$50, MS63-$250, MS65-$500. image

  • I feel that I know Lincolns but not the varieties. This thread (richbeat) is a great example of why I hang out on the boards!

  • Don't take those prices too seriously, but they'll give you a fair idea of what they go for in certain grades. Also check out the thread "1941 DDO Lincoln Advice Needed" for some nice scans of FS#018.3. Glad to be of some help. image
