I bet there was no mistake in taking its picture against a red background. . . Rick II
I've had great transactions with people like: drwstr123, CCC2010, AlanLastufka, Type2, Justlooking, zas107, StrikeOutXXX, 10point, 66Tbird, and many more!
Copper is hard to photograph, and these coins don't turn red. Always the best advice when buying raw coins, is to only do it in person. Obviously by my comment about it probably won't be slabbed, is an indication the picture makes it look like it has been messed with.
XFine. Less than $20. Little headdress detail and liberty on band is hard to make out. Uncriculated is quite a stretch.
Photo was taken using high wattage incandescent close to the coin and using a flash as well to remove the shadings. This would make it appear redder than it is. My bet is that this coin is brown.
"spare change? Nahhhhh...never have any...sold it all on E-bay..." see? My Auctions "Got any 1800's gold?"
