Finally found a "key date"

I have been running an ad in the local paper for awhile looking for coins. I have had quite a few responses, but most of the coins are low grade generic dates, with some exceptions like the toned Morgans I bought. Today I purchased a small collection that had some nice Proof sets in it, plus a smattering of "other stuff". Lower grade Buff's, Walking Libs etc. plus some dimes. Those of you who have purchased collections know all too well about the "other stuff" LOL.

Anyway, you pretty much have to buy the "other stuff" to get what you want. Most of the people just want to get the cash. After getting home, I was looking through the dimes and found a 1894 O Barber Dime, one of the keys to the series. Now if it had just been MS...LOL. Kind of neat anyhow, and not a bad coin.

In God We Trust.... all others pay in Gold and Silver!
  • Thanks. It can be alot of fun at times, kinda like treasure hunting. You just have to learn to deal with the folks who call and want to know how much their "valuable" 2 no date Buffs are worth image
