So, did I get taken for this on Yahoo!

I just bought a coin on Yahoo! auctions, and after hearing comments regarding the differences between Yahoo! and eBay, maybe this wasn't a good buy. What do you think?

Opps, didn't know it needed a password. It's ............. j/k. It was my first atempt of posting a link. I guess just another reason not to use Yahoo! I'll post a picture below.

Opps, should mention I picked it up for just under $20. Maybe I didn't get screwed on Yahoo! Any opinions as to what price is a good 'deal'?

20 bucks for a PCGS MS64FBL is a good price (as long as you didn't get ripped-off on shipping).

Nope, shipping was $3, which included insurance. Still, I think I have heard enough to start looking over on eBay. At least I was successful in my first attempts to place a link and a picture on the message board. I have seen enough posts about people not being able to do that, that I didn't want to screw that up.

Your link worked for me. $19.50, plus $3.00 for shipping. I think that is a great deal. Nice looking coin. Congrats on the win. Richard.
  • Don't let everybody scare you away from looking, I bought a raw toned nickel on there last year had it slabbed and sold it at auction for over $350!! It is just like every place else, you have to know your coins and BE VERY PICKY.

  • I agree with the others, you can get the same good buys and also the beatings on Yahoo that you can get on Ebay or Amazon or others. I think that opportunities may be better on Yahoo because so many have been scared away.image
