In my clumsiness...

I dropped a PCGS slab today. It’s now got a crack in it. Not a very big one, but it’s at the top and somewhat extends into the part with the blue label. It’s noticeable. Does anyone know if a crack in a slab will grow with time? Should I get it reholdered?

    the crack will not grow w/ just time. you'll have to feed & water it.

    Dan,

    I don't think the crack will grow. If it doesn't affect the view of the coin I would let it go. Next big show you go to where PCGS is present, have it done right there. That way it is not in the mail and saves you the postage.
