Moving towards or away from slabs?

When I first got back into the hobby, I got a bunch of slabs because I didn't trust my grading -- or anyone else's. I had a reasonable assurance the coin wasn't far off (I only got PCGS slabs). But as I've learned how to grade, I've been finding myself migrating away from the world of slabs (except for >$300 coins) and relying on my own judgment and the merits of the coin. In other words, I don't feel like submitting unless I feel I have a sure-fire winner.
My question: As you've grown in your ability to grade/evaluate coins have you found yourself slabbing more or less? Do you buy more slabs or less?
