    NTC is ACG's main competitor.

  • At my coin club meeting a guy brought in 6 PF69 1964 quarters graded by NTC. I'm not sure why he bought 6. These things are very common. None were PF69 but they were not that bad. This buffalo dollar may not get PF69 from NGC or PCGS but I'm sure it is still a nice proof.
  • Braddick buys the NTC holder.

Wow- the coin braddick bought looks like it was photographed from the roof of someone's house... or maybe a low-flying airplane! image Typical iPix shot. image

When a similar message about NTC was posted on the eBay Coin Chat forum, asking who they were, one sharp-tongued wag (I believe it was"smedley", the "Dog97" of the eBay boards- or maybe their "gmarguli" equivalent) put it this way: he explained that NTC stands for Numistrust Corporation.

...But he spelled it "New Mistrust" in the rest of the post. LOL. image

That smedley sure had a caustic wit, like our own Dog and Greg do. But he was funny as hell sometimes. image

(Excessive smiley use... sorry. I'm seeing a therapist about it.)

  • $112 and the reserve hasn't been met? I guess I didn't follow the value of these Buff dollars....are they really selling for that much?
