How about something really POSITIVE?

I'm not shy about calling a spade a spade... and certainly I've run into my share of hair-balls doing this thing on ebay.

One thing I'd like to do is recognize what an OUTSTANDING company L&C coins is to deal with.
I've bought nearly 85% of my registry set from L&C - sight unseen.

EVERY COIN - absolutely beautiful. Nice people to deal with, and never a problem.
For those folks who already deal with them, you already know. If you haven't done business with them,
I can recommend them highly. True customer service. image

I've had reasonably good success with them, but there was the one "haze free" coin which I had to send back for a replacement.

I live about 3/4 of a mile from them and I don't have such rave reviews about them. Very difficult to make appointments, they don't let you walk in off the street. No browsing, you must ask for each and every coin you wish to see. They just hand you a catalog and say that's what we have. The deal very little with slab coins and therefore deal mostly with raw coins. I'm not crazy about them.

huh. That's all I've bought from them. PCGS slabbed PR69DCAMs.
Interesting "flip-side". Perhaps their preference is ebay... I have no other
experience with them to compare, but the ebay transactions have been really great.

They deal mostly raw in their printed catalog and at their store, mostly slabbed on eBay.

I would never purchase from their catalog, the prices are too high.

I have bought from them on E-Bay and at their store in CA (I was out there for work). Great people!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
