Ike is really killing'em on teletrade tonight!

The 72-S ANACS 68 from the Pea*ock hoard is already at $1450 with about 4 hours left, and the 76 Type-1 ANACS 65 is at $360. I really like both coins and both have color, but that 72-S is stunning. I wish I had some Ike money put away.

Edited to add - A 1973 PCGS MS-64 is at $180.

Big money for a Bald head. I am a fan of Ikes, but I will stick with the under $50 dollar variety.

You know, I received a Teletrade auction listing paper in the mail the other day, so I figured, what the heck, and went over there. Placed a couple of bids.........talk about idiotic software. I check my bids, and it shows the high bid amounts, but not what I bid! I have to go back and forth checking my bids against the current bids.......I just logged out and gave up AGAIN over there.
This could also be a case of my inability to work a perfectly fine set up........I'm still trying to figure out if it's me, or the site set up.
I'll never know, as I'm not going back........I promise this time!!

Looks like a couple didn't sell. That 74-D MS64 at $220 is surprising, makes the nicer looking (IMO) 74 MS65 look like a bargain at $150 -- I would have bid higher than that on that one, but I stayed away from the auction rather than tempt myself on any of them. Blew my budget already.

I'm hoping the 71-P in 65 I bought looks like the scan. I wish I could have spent on the Peac-ck coin, but it was just to far beyond the set I'm building. Still, I was pretty pleased with the $160 for the 71.
