Question on an 1866 2¢ piece.

Would that rim nick on the reverse earn this one a bodybag? Other than that, I like the way this coin looks.

I wouldn't think so, but I have been surprised before. Not a bad looking coin though, but I wouldn't pay the price to have it graded.

I agree with krypto not a bad coin and the rim knock should not get it a body bag but probably not worth getting slabbed as the slabbing fees will cost at least half of it's value.

That piece is corroded. Look at AMERICA on the rev. and on the lower left side of the shield on the obv. Plus there is a ding under the ribbon on the rev. also. I think the rim hit is the least of the problems to worry about here. I'd move on from this piece.

hi russ, the little ding is not that bad, its all the other problems, i would pass.
