Silver eagles ..................

On the WTC recovery silver eagles graded by pcgs why are some graded ms69 and some are gem unc. they both have WTC 9/11/01 recovery on the holder,did pcgs get lazy or is there a difference? and also does anyone know the population of the 2001 silver eagles that where recovered? and to all who answered my lincoln VDB question I thank you very much.

I answered this in more detail on another thread. Short answer the MS-69's are slabbed by PCGS. The "Gem Uncirculated" pieces are slabbed by Collectors Universe using PCGS shells but with the CU logo on the back.
