what the heck is PQ

I have seen it used i have heard it used at coin shows. What the heck does it mean???

  • PQ means almost a grade higher like MS-64 PQ is high grade 64 or super low grade 65

    It's what a dealer tells you each coin is as you pick it up for viewing.

    Or, in Braddick's case, it's FR02 that is super-low-grade and should be PO-01, or PO-01 that is so great it shouldn't even have a date! (hey- that rhymes!)

  • Once again, Russ got it right! PQ (premium quality) is the coin the dealer has in his case. Your coin, even if undergraded, is not PQ image
