    no, but he has a chance to prove everybody wrong. Which is all hype once again. His cards will never reach what they did when he was a rookie unless he wins 6 titles in a row and 6 mvps in a row and averages 40ppg and 10 assists. Which is possible, but don't count on carter to bring in those heavy prices, because investors will always look at what happend to his cards in just 1 losing season. It wouldn't hurt to pick up a vc sp authentic in a bgs grade, but don't start buying all of his cards or any of his autos since they are way over produced like anything these days.

    I don't think they'll hit the same levels soon. But there won't be that same frenzy. If he drops 30+ per game and not go on the DL for a lengthy period of time, they'll get back(or atleast close) to where they used to be.

    I don't think they'll be quite as high but they will probably regain a little. It'd really help if he got out of Toronto.

    even if carter averages 30ppg his cards won't bring the same hype unless he's allstar mvp, regular season mvp and "IF" he wins the finals being finals mvp. Iverson is a perfect example of what happens when you avg 30ppg and win no championship. Look at his cards...........Iverson is more popular than vc and his cards get no hobby love, because of no rings and of course his image plays a little part. Vince carter's cards will not soar for a good regular season year unless he scores 80 points 4 straight games........everything jumps around the playoffs and how well a certain player is doing. You have alot of time to pick up some vc sp's and even if he ends up like jordan.........where will his cards be anyways? Carter sp in psa 9 or bgs 9 is roughly 300$ right now and for just 150-200 more you could have yourself a jordan rc in psa 8 or bgs 7.5 or 8 for that money. Investing in his cards is ridiclious if you ask me. I hope he can prove me wrong though.....so I can sell his cards and buy more mj products.
