Three coins in today, three coins going back to the sellers.

Anybody else have days like this? Two from one seller, one from another. Both these sellers have sterling feedback, with lots of happy customers. I get these coins in and one has dip residue spotting on the obverse, the other two have field haze. Sometimes I think that people assume that if a coin is in a PCGS slab, then it must be okay and don't really look closely at them.
Or, am I just a picky, anal retentive dickhead out of touch with reality?

Oh wait. Nevermind.
Good luck!
OK, got that off my chest.
Russ, thanks for the intro - otherwise I would have just kept my emotions inside.
I can't imagine how much in shrink fees this forum saves its members?
Russ, sorry you are having a "bad coin day" X 3.
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.

kekekekeke ^_^
I don't mean you should keep something you are not happy with but I'd suggest you look for a higher grade or maybe shop the shows for a while.
Nope, not Kennedy's.
coynclecter,
All three of these are graded 69.
Well, I just heard back from one of the sellers. Now I know why his feedback is excellent.

My exact sentiments. Received a coin in the mail today with a big long scratch on it. Didn't see it in the auction pic and the seller didn't say anything about it. Needless to say, it's already on its way back.

The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!

These weren't JFKs. Not that I've stopped buying JFKs, just adding a little variety.

<< <i>Me too, but only one. A 1902 EF-45 (Slabbed as a MS63 RB - Ha, Ha) with just about every kind of negative eye appeal you can imagine (black sneezes and spittal; wear, wear, everywhere - especially on Miss Librerty's hair; bad case of teenage acne that someone probably tried to cure by dipping the coin in zit cream). I think if I vomited on it, it would look better.
OK, got that off my chest.

<< <i>By the way, how is your short set of walkers coming along? >>
Added one yesterday that I picked up at the show. That puts me up to 60% and moved me back on to the first page. But, that was short-lived. Somebody registered two new sets and immediately knocked me back off. The competition in this set seems to be heating up.

measure up when I got it. Nothing wrong with the coin - it matched the grade that he advertised, I just
knew that when I got it, it wasn't the coin I wanted in my collection.
By all means, if YOU are not happy with the coins, send them back!!! You are the one who has to live with
them, not the seller!

Then I'm glad you got sniped on my PR66 Accented Hair today.
You would have returned it because there is no red in it, like in the picture.

Let me note two things for you. First, when I buy a coin graded 66, I expect there to be reasons why it is only a 66. Second, if I actually wanted it, I wouldn't have gotten sniped.
Russ, NCNE
Actually you probably would have been happy with it at your high bid price - another $5 bucks and you'd be paying what I did for it.
