hi, new to the forum, i really enjoy reading what everyone has to say, there seems to be a wealth of information from many people, from diffrent walks of life, but somehow all seem to be conected together, thru coins. before joining, i email several forum members, les, russ, adrian, mark,coinman, thanks, you guys are great. about me, united states navy vet. started collecting in 1955, no, my eyes are not what they use to be, got to get my glasses changed..again...still have my first coin, an old banged up indian cent, and a pack of topps baseball cards i bought at the corner drug store. married , with 3 dogs, no not coins, beagles. they hog the bed, no wonder my back hurts, coins , what a wonderful hobby, we hold history in our hands, i like so many, what i like the best, early american copper, original pieces, with eye appeal. and original toned coins. anyway its been fun, thanks. ron

    Welcome Ron. Active AF here... was just checking over my mess dress (my dad called it his monkey suit in the Coast Guard) for an upcoming dining out. We have a few hundred navy folks here on base.

With your tenure in the hobby you should be a great addition and resource for those of us younger folksimage (30) My dad is retired Navy and served from 1960 to 1980, so I love Squids!!!!!! I am a grunt myself after serving 4 Years in the good old US ARMY. I've been all I can be, but coins were more fun!!!image

    Welcome aboard, as you can tell by my handle, I love toned coins also, 18 years active national guard with a field artillery battalion, countdown now on the last 2 years so I can make my 20. Lots of great people here on the board with great opinions and advice. So drop your anchor and hang on!

    Welcome to the forum, Ron. Nice having you with us image I love dogs (as you probably deduced from my name), and have found beagles are an especially intelligent breed. I have a Lhasa Apso myself, and had my previous dog (a scottipoo) until he was 17. Hope you enjoy it here as much as I do!

    hi from classics..ron thanks for the welcome onto the forum...i have 3 beagles. one was homeless, one came from a amish farm, and the newest one hes just a pup, i got 3 months ago from a freind. its a circus around here with these dogs. all full blooded, anyway thanks again...ron

    hi russ .ron here ...classics..the new to the forum.... i posted a message last night on the forum, and told what had happened to me getting ripped off on ebay....you know whats funny, after my ebay posting was up, ebay told me i was not to do that again...i told them i was only trying to help, as i did not want anyone else to get hurt....they told me a second time...dont do it again! oh well, they make the rules. and will cover a small percent of my loss thru their insurance, so it was not a total loss... anyway i really like the form, very educational and just a lot of fun, also thanks for the welcome....take care...ron {classics}
