    I love dogs, but will only tolerate Labs. (actually mostly-Lab mutts are fine, and, what I own) If you have come to understand, you will be happy for the rest of your life. One of my dogs is from the SPCA, the other form the side of the road. Labrador Retrievers (and their mongrel brethren) are the finest, most loyal, and safest creatures in the world to invite into your home.

    Congratulations on the new puppy, (all dogs are puppies all the time). Ruth and I are firm believers in saving the unwanted, they always turn out to be exceptional and special. My wife is a trainer/behavorilist and if you need an occasional idea on how to handle a problem start with nrp@corecomm.net and we will get you headed in the right direction. Don't forget. birthdays star with the day she/he walked in the front door.
