Does anybody collect the "Young Collectors" series of Commemoratives?

What do think? It seems to me that the Mint was charging a significant premium for them so maybe there is an opportunity there. Does anybody know how many of the 1996 Olympic Soccer Young Collector sets were sold?

I'm not familiar with these, can you give us more details? Of course, I'm just showing my ignorance of youth oriented mint product positioning.

The 1996 issues did not sell as well as the 1995's, but these are not rare, and do not trade at a real premium over the halfs that were packaged the standard way.

We loved them and wished the mint continued doing it. I made a MS 69 from the best one which happened to be a dup.

These were not popular. When we were looking they were hard to find. If all of a sudden they become popular then there is your opportunity. My wife collects coins in original mint packaging so had to have 'em all

I too would welcome mintage figures if anyone has them!
