After working coins all day, it sometimes becomes difficult to just determine obverse and reverse.
The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

    My answer is E.

  • With all the possible combinations of coins their could be 2 correct answers

    A, C and E are true

    OR

    B, D and E are true

    Edited to add:

Or am I reading to much into this and the answer is C?

  • I get E as the only answer also.

"E" Is that your final answer? "Yes"

E seems to be true in any case. The other answers have variables.

I think the question has an ambiguity which must be resolved before it can be answered. Is "Eagle" the same as "Bald Eagle?" They go out of their way to say Bald Eagle four times, but when the coins on the table are described it says just "Eagle" for number 5.

Edited to add: If they are the same then two possible populations result.

    1)SL-LB__or__1)SL-BE
    2)IH-BE______2)IH-LB
    3)IH-BE______3)SL-BE
    4)SL-LB______4)IH-LB
    5)IH-BE______5)SL-BE
    6)IH-BE______6)IH-LB

Thus: A)False (pop 2 only has 3 Bald Eagles)
b)False (pop 1 only has 2 Liberty Bells)
c)False (pop 2 has an equal number of Bald Eagles and Liberty bells)
D)False (pop 1 only has 2 Statue of Libertys)
E)True (both populations have equal or greater numbers of Independence halls as Statue of libertys)

A mint makes four commemorative coins.
This line holds the key too the answer. It's not about two commemoratives.
Time to get your paper and pens out again. lol

the mint making 4 commems can't be very key. I believ it to be a piece of info to through you off. If it is key, the 4 described would have to be a statue of lib w/ eagle rev and one w/lib bell rev AND indep hall w/eagle rev and one w/lib bell rev. If not then all info isn't given PLUS to go on and say that the statue of lib have same rev contradicts that it bears both the lib bell rev and eagle rev, etc.

there is at least one statue of lib obv and independence hall obverse making E true in all cases. All the other answers depend on info not given.

I suppose I could be dead wrong as this is one of those questions where the obvious is probably Not true, but in this instance I have applied Ochams Razor (Pushkin image )
