Your memory serves you correctly -1941 is not a key date. Regarding the condition/price issue - a PR67 currently trades wholesale in the $1300 range and PR68's sell for quite a bit (I purposefully wont be too specfic) less than the "buy it now" price.
I'll take the penny, but you won't get much for it - I'm getting too old and senile to dream about much except coins (used to dream about girls and then women, I think). But, it doesn't look like a piece of #$!& to me. As for price, I don't have any secret information and I don't know silver - but I wouldn't just dismiss it (sometimes people "doth protest too much"). Enjoy the coin, not the crap.
