It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
This seller has 7 more of these in his safe deposit box. Well, that sure makes me want to plunk down a heavy chunk of change for this. He's right.. who needs the stock market.. when I can lose my investment just as easily by spending 145k for a not-so-rare-as-he/she'd-like-to-think die crack.
I checked the feedback for this seller and every single one of the coins the seller has sold has had a die crack!
However, all of those went for little or no premium.
I wonder why the seller thinks this one is the mother load when the seller has been selling 10 cent to 10 dollar coins previously?
I agree with Placid, the seller is simply having fun at a small cost of an eBay listing. Sick fun, I think though as it really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
