You will probably regret I'm learning to do this!!!1881 cc (sweet)

This is one of my coins I enjoy. I know it's small but the best I can do right now. This has nice original frost luster. Strike is all there and the orange reddish rim album toning add for great eye appeal. Left field has a light reed mark that is only a luster break. Cheek might have a few too many light marks but the eye appeal I feel brings it up.

Thanks for looking

  • Wow, that is one pretty CC Morgan! Thanks for sharing.
  • Now THAT is a beautiful coin!

The light gold around the rim is especially cool!
Nice job on the scan. image
  • I don't regret it at all. I like the picture, and I think the coin is really cool.
The strangest things seem suddenly routine.

yes that is a GREAT! coin

there are 5 types of coins

    crappy
    average
    good
    very good
    great

    only buy GREAT! coins

if you look at a coin for sale ask yourself is the money better left folded in my pocket or in the coin! more often than not the money is better left in your pocket!!

if you buy the coin you are looking at, are there buyers out there for this coin right now at close to what you just paid for it maybe more?? does this coin have a reason to rise in value?
is this a GREAT! coin and why??

i guess only you can answer this and if you cant to a very good certianity THEN DO NOT BUY THE COIN! in other words if you do not know or understand what you are looking at DO NOT BUY THE COIN! moreso if it is an expensive coin to you and your budget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    sincerely michael

Thanks for all your comments on this piece. As far as morgans go I've collected the cc dollars mainly, and also the gsa cc. I have other ones that are even higher grade and also dmpl cc morgans.

But this 1881 cc sticks out as one of my favorite babies. This is to me the type of coin that is the true definition of TILL DEATH DO US PART!!! And also thanks for your comments on the PR 66 barber quarter I posted. I enjoyed being able to share these.

I have a fairly nice 84-CC PCGS MS-65 that I actually bought twice! It has a reed mark too, but in the neck.

Hey cool! You didn't post a detailed enough scan for me to give it the ole dog critique image so all I can say is 81 is a good year. I like a little periph tone on a brilliant coin.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

Well Dog, I think coming from you I'll still take that as a compliment.image

Because I know that's the best I will get out of you

Besides that I mentioned my picky things about it.

    thanks, stman
