What is a fair price to pay for common ms65fb and

ms66fb blast white Mercury dimes? Are there general price ranges for mid to late 1930s? And 1940s?

I realize that not all coins in this group are common. The 1945 is very hard to find in fb. I mean the years that seem to have enough coins to go around.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Tony,

The prices vary greatly, depending on the date and mint, but you should be able to find the most common dates in 66FB for about $40. This would be for the '37-P, '39-D, and all of the Denver coins from 1941-1945. For other dates, you might try looking at the CU price guide, multiplying their prices by 75%.

    Jim,

Thank you that was the type of info I was looking for. I knew the CU price guide was off from what one whould expect to pay. The 75% sure helps. And for common stuff that number helps, too.

  • $30 for a 65FB and $40 for a 66FB is very reasonable, and you can often find Dutch auctions on eBay for them for about that price.

I had a bunch of them that I would have sold you at that price, but I unloaded them not too long ago. Sorry. image
