I like knowing I don't have to look for a problem label on PCGS or NGC. ANACS does a fine job on problem coins and fills that nich well.

The jury is still out for me, but isn't it enough that ANACS; PCI and SEGS will grade and encapsulate problem coins?

  • Of the 3 you mention I would only give credence to 1.ANACS
PCGS says they're #1.So does NGC.
In my mind anyone can churn grades out for no problem coins.I would imagine you really have to know your stuff to open yourself up to challenge on a coin like this.
And what about this coin.should it be tossed out because it has a little damage?Truithfully I would hope the big 2 would show a little more respect for the coins themselves.

  • That'll be a great coin for kids to possibly get interested in Numismatics.image Hasn't PCGS graded problem coins in the past? I thought I've saw it list problems on the holder for extremely rare classic coins before.
