How did you come to root for the team you do?

lakers-watched the 79 ncaa championship game when magic beat bird. thought magic was awesome so followed him to the NBA

mets- whole entire family are mets fans

I know it sounds bad but remember this happened a long time ago.. I grew up in Wichita KS. and the only football teams were the Chiefs and the Cowboys. Back then when you were a kid you played games like Cowboys and Indians..... Well nobody wanted to be the indians because they didnt sport those cool six shooters, so we all became cowboy fans.
