This is another coin i picked up at the fall show. Kinda looks like it exploded. Tell me if you know what the heck is up with the ulgy buffalo

    looks like whatever it is that got on it caused some serious corrosion that almost looks like laminations.

    GROSS!! The red stuff looks like the Indian's brains! Looks like a lamination to me, where the alloy wasn't mixed well and it seperated after the pressures of being rolled into a planchet and struck into a coin. Cool!!
    Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

    Dog, my first thought was brains as well, looks like the indian was riding the tatunka when he was scalped and the brains are dripping off the beast.

    Ebay it with a story like that...lol.
