Might have a shot at pcgs 64.

Its a beautiful coin and worth $400, including what it would cost to cross it to PCGS/NGC.
    The opening bid is ridiculous.

It looks like there are 2 marks that I can see. I think it is a 65 at best. Mark

  • I have to concur that it wouldn't go any higher then 65.

65-66 coin IMO. Everyone else is on this. Worth $400-1,000 depending on how it regrades.

Beautiful coin and no reason it wouldn't go PCGS MS66. (MS66 Commemoratives are allowed the marks seen).
The scan doesn't show the luster I bet this coin has too.

  • PCGS65 at best. The color is not great.

  • My first impression was, (and I'm just an ordinary collector,,no expert) " uh oh, dirty !" but the reverse came up first for me... then I saw the obverse and I wasn't any more impressed,, expecially since they arranged the shadow to fall where the dark, spotty toning occurs at the top/left of the tree...to me IMHO, that's contrived deceipt.. I don't like the color, 67 or a 107.. I agree with Brian and TRUTH. Starting Bid ,,Waaay Uncool .

  • I'm with the majority here. Even with the scan the coin doesn't look like it would cross to PCGS at all. So don't pay anything like MS67 money for it if you decide to purchase it.

i'd say: purchase it if you like it.

  • Honest opinion? The sellers open is at a pq ms/66 level. There are a few marks, that look to keep it at ms/65 or so. If the luster is fantastic, it could grade 66, but I don't think so. Looks like a solid ms/65 from the scan, and not worth the money the seller is looking for. Email the seller and ask about the luster and the color. It's probably a good coin, just not $1,000 worth of a good coin, from the pics anyway.

If this coin has outstanding luster, then I'll go with MS-66. Otherwise I think it's borderline MS-65/66.
