Quite a few can be had in MS for $50 or but at that price you'll have to settle for VF - AU on a few.

  • I think that if you want to start collecting Walking Liberty Halfs to go with the later date set from 1933-1947. For $50 and under for each coin you could assemble a really nice set with the majority of the coins ranging from au to ms63.

  • If you're patient you can find common date PCGS graded MS64 Walkers for $35, with the '41s and several others running $75 to $80. This is for the '41 to'47 short set. It comprises 20 coins and is not a difficult set to complete. Good luck!
careful- that light at the end of the tunnel might be a freight train!
  • thx i think ill try an AU set and upgrade when i have more money.

    joemon2,

Please show me where I can get an MS64 1941-S for $80. I'll buy five, give you one for the referral, keep one for my set, sell the other three and still make a profit.

How’d you get to be a Senior Member if you joined in August? Just curious...

  • Good Luck!

As soon as I finish my Kennedy's and Franklin's I'm going to start WLH...

  • Russ- You're right. I paid $140 for the '41s but was averaging the cost of the remaining dates of the short set. I would also like to buy 5 @ $80. Sorry- if I come across any at that price will let you know!

  • As for your original question, I think you should just build an entire PCGS MS65/66 Walker set.image
