NGC submission question

I am mailing my first submission to NGC early next week and am wondering if you can check on your submissions on the NGC website like you can on PCGS's site. I have looked over the NGC site quite a bit and have not seen this feature.

Thanks
Gary

  • Yes they do have one. You have to be a member of the collectors society to see it. It has some neat features that PCGS lacks, you can se jsut where your coins are in the grading process ie..Received and Scheduled for Grading, Grading, Quality Control, Finalized/Imaged/Shipped . IHowever one thing they do lack and PCGS does do is give you the grade. They claim that is in the works but for now you know everything about your coins except the grade.

You can also call them without being a member (at their 800 number) and they'll give you an update. They'll even give you the grades over the phone if the coins are done!

In that case, then they do have one up on the PCGS updates. Thanks for the info Mike.
