I received an e-mail from a former member and he asked me to post this for him, because he couldn't find anyone else to.

Too many people are abusing the board and breaking the rules here. Akafocus is totally right, so stop picking on him, he is only trying to make this board a better place. With that said, akafocus should have no problem with me asking him to remove his banner and link from his signature, seeing it is inappropriate.

Here, it is, just incase you forgot it, or missed it when signing up.

So please help me in making this forum an appropriate place for all and remove your advertisement. I am asking nicely and would rather deal with you instead of asking Charlie to remove it. The rules are the rules and I would not want you to be removed for something as silly as this. Thank you in advance for your support in helping clean up this board.

This message also affects anyone else who is advertising trade sites in their signature. So please remove them so Charlie doesn't have to do so. Sorry, but as akafocus and bobstar would say if it is "inappropriate" it doesn't belong here and according to the rules and regulations, it is inappropriate.

Chuck, your banner is inappropriate here. I am asking nicely for you to remove it. I don't want to involve Charlie. This is a Buy/Sell/Trade board and unless you are paying CU to advertise, I would recommend removing it. Sorry, but rules are rules.

No problem, I thought I would be nice and ask you to do it, but you didn't want to, so I have contacted Charlie and hopefully he will follow the rules and regulations and remove the inappropriate material. If he doesn't, I guess this board will never rid itself of the "inappropriate" material.

I know he's being a little sarcastic, but he does have a point, rules are rules, and we don't get to decide who does and does not get to break them. If we can't cuss, you can't advertise. Not to be vindictive, but a double standard could cause all sorts of issues.

Is not every post for a trade or for a sale a solicitation? This board will get pretty quite in a hurry if we weed that inappropriate material from the board.

Is not every link to a person's web page an advertisement?

I think the folks are making a point...If an entity is going to enforce their stated rules, then all rules should be followed and not just selected ones...enforcing the under 18 rule alone should take care of the worst offenders...lol

LOL, why yes, yes it is, so like many have stated before me, akafocus wants this board down. I guess you didn't read between the lines. If we have to follow the rules here, all rules should be followed and not just a select few. I mean, come on Chuck, do you think I have changed into bobstar jr. or akafocus II? The rules and regulations stated in the user agreement are so complex and confusing that anyone could make anything from them. There are too many people that get offended by certain things, there is no way to please everyone. If anyone has seen the South Park Christmas episode, then you'll know what I am talking about. BTW, since you know me so well, how do you know what I was booted for? Do you even know if I was booted or am I just a new member playing a game? Do you even know who this superstar is? I am seriously guessing you don't. LOL

1. Yes that is true, but was just taking a stab at it, seeing you are an advocate on the rules and regulations, and if we all follow the rules, this forum wouldn't exist.

2. If you have rules set, they should be followed. Yes, inappropriate language is bad, but so is advertising according to the user agreement.

I know you can see what I am saying akafocus, the rules need to be heavily restructured from their current status. Some people would find dirtmonkey's signature picture offensive too. You can't please everyone, it's impossible. If you haven't seen the South Park Christmas, it is well worth watching to see exactly what I am talking about.

Yeah, and I am very offended by the name of his site. It sounds like people who trade cards are fools? It should be removed seeing someone is offended, now shouldn't it? That is the way this board is turning out, someone sees something they don't like and in the end the mods have to remove it to save face and protect their image.

Keep whining. You are like that dog I had when I was a kid. 5 seconds after you let it in the house, the thing would start whining to be outside again. So you were removed. So what--you are now back. Anyone can form an e-mail account and sign up. You get booted, you come back and whine about being booted. What is the point? You still have access to the forum. You still post here.

There is a company that actually pays for the maintenance and overhead of this site. They chose people to oversee these forums and enforce the rules as they see fit--not you. This is not a democracy where the members vote on things to determine the outcome. It is not our decision on how the rules are enforce or interpreted. You want to have that authority, go pay some jack and make your own site. Spend your time advertising it and overseeing it. Then you can be the big kid on the block. Until that time, just be thankful this site does not have the ability to block people by IP #'s, or you'd have a harder time signing back up.

Well according to the user agreement, they do have the power to ban IP's. Also, I don't appreciate being compared to a dog, so I will ask you nicely to remove that comment, seeing it is degrading and "bashing" and is also against the user agreement. Remember we are trying to clean up this place. I thought that was the entire plan with you, akafocus, bobstar, and others.

Dude i been in card trading fools as long as here and i have at least made trades.Card trading fools is a great site to trade with nonwhining ACTIVE traders.

I have made 0 complaints about anything while being here other than those of you who were removed, have come back, and yet whine about being removed. As I said befoer, am I missing something? You are still here--so what is your problem? There is much I'd complain about if I thought it were my place, as a free member to this site others pay for. But, I actually know my role.

Please refrain from the profanity fuzz. You are just making yourself look bad by using it. Quite a few of the heavy trading members here are gone, whether it be due to school, booted, or just left for unknown reasons. This place was a great place to trade, but this board was always filled with off topic items and always will be. I mean, come on, who is going to tell someone to stop announcing birthdays because it's has nothing to do with this board? That would be totally rude, so off topic posts will always be here, but it is too bad that over 1/2 the posts relate to off topic.
