if the auction description ended with:
<< <i>Buyer pays 7.00 postage and insurance in the USA. . Buyer pays 4.00 postage and insurance in the USA. >>
I kinda prefer the 4.00.... but, that's just me. Obviously a copy/paste error on the seller's part. Should I hold him to the lower cost? That $3.00 would buy me a pack of smokes!

Edit:
Seller's response:
4.00 is without insurance
7.00 is with insurance

i would take that into account if I paid by paypal before clarifying it with the seller
who knows, maybe you'll luck out!
IMHO, let the seller know the mistake and let him/her choose... Most folks I deal with appreciate a two-way working relationship. I like to save money too - I just know that the things I buy seem to be handled better when I work closely with the seller.
I know that if it is the first time I deal with someone and I find that they're uptight, I hesitate for future transactions. If they're relaxed about mistakes in listings, I tend to deal with them again.
I would probably expect to pay around $7.00 for a 10 pack of proof sets. Maybe see if you can meet in the middle, although probably not worth having a bad transaction over.
I do know what its like though to be down to the end of a pack and only have a buck in the pocket.

What's $3, anyway? Besides.... maybe... a pack of smokes... half a margarita... 3 24oz coffees at Speedway...
Hmmm.... considering how I would have spent it otherwise, perhaps it's just as well that I use it for coin shipment (though, I'm talking about some REALLY good margaritas).
