I was unable to locate any of these varieties in the Top 100 or Hot 50 as those varieties for which a premium has been established. The 1878 Vam 84 is a B1 Reverse variety (with a clashed E) MAY carry a small premium to specific collectors, however, it is the most common of the B1 reverses and is supposedly easily obtainable. If you are considering selling the 1878 Vam 84 and it is a MS coin, I would be interested.

BTW, did you request variety attribution?

What would your slabbed coins be worth if the grading services went out of business? What would your coins be worth if the Internet was taken offline for good?
  • The coolest VAM of all is the 1888-O "Scarface." Rare and dramatic! image
