Occassionally I'll receive a pleasant PM or email from a collector who is willing to send me either on approval, or just for the heck of it, a low grade, problem free coin.
Just today I received a wonderful, true to life, AG03 1976-D Ike dollar in the mail.
I don't recognize the address on the envelope (there was no name) but would sure like to thank this Forum member personally for such a terrific surprise!
-It'll be on its way to PCGS on my next submission. I've never seen a 1976 this low grade (looks like a Casino coin).
Who are you?
Please PM me so I can adequately and properly thank you.
(Sorry, in advance, if I "TTT" this one later-)

That is SO cool. You folks really have a great community here. Feel free to send me coins anytime
NOTE: No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
Type collector since 1981
Current focus 1855 date type set
Dave is refering to the "Cheap Slab Store".
Now, surprisingly, what I ended up with is one 1964 PCGS PR67DCAM and one ICG MS66 1940 cent.
I know.
Go figure.

Awww man, I got SO excited when I saw a problem free type 1 SLQ in ANACS FR02, and then you don't even pick it up. hahaha.
I guess the crossover fees WOULD get a bit expensive.
Maybe I'll just have to make one for you for Christmas.

We'll just swap it for a G4.

PS - That was very generous and cool of someone. With all the muckracking on this board lately, this is quite refreshing.
edited to add PS
